Gather in the Social Hall to share breakfast

(prepared by Dorcas Society,

funded by Brotherhood)

as we culminate our Valentine project

to benefit the families of children

who attend Head Start in our building.

(There is no Sunday School this day.)

 

     

 

 

 

Ash Wednesday

Wednesday, February 18

The sanctuary will be open for private devotions

and prayer, and the imposition of ashes if so desired,

from 7:00 - 9:00 am.

 

Ash Wednesday evening worship with Holy Communion

and Imposition of Ashes

7:00 pm

 

 

Soup and Scripture

Monday evenings during Lent

beginning with a light soup supper at 6:00 pm

according to the following schedule:

 

February 3rd at Maple Grove UMC

March 2nd at St. Paul's Lutheran

March 9th at Lehman-Idetown

March 16th at Loyalville UMC

March 23rd at Our Lady of Mount Carmel

 

 

Wednesday Evening Gatherings

at St. Paul’s

with our Brothers & Sisters of St. Luke Reformation, Noxen

Gather in the Social Hall for a light supper at 6:00,

 then continue with a short study featuring Bible study and

reflection on God’s abundance and our mission;

we will conclude with Evening Prayer in the sanctuary.

 

     

 

All Aboard, Model Railroaders and Railfans! 

A Model Railroad / Train Enthusiast Group

is being formed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. 

The next meeting is

set for Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 7:00 pm. 

All are welcome.  Bring along a friend!

 

     

 

 

St. Paul’s is sponsoring

a Support Group for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren. 

The February meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 18

from 6:00 - 7:30 pm with child care being provided as needed. 

This support group provides an opportunity for grandparents

to gather and discuss common issues and concerns

ranging from legal custody to educational concerns

to general child rearing issues. 

Please call the office (570-675-3859) for further information and to register. 

It is important to register so proper arrangements can be made for child care.
